Chickasabogue Park is a 1,100-acre outdoor recreation facility and wildlife refuge. It provides a wide variety of outdoor activities in a natural setting while protecting the environment and preserving the diversity of plants and animals indigenous to the area. The park is open from 7 a.m. until dusk for day-use activities and is open 24 hours for campers. The gates are locked at night and professional guards are on duty to assist campers and enforce park rules.
